Check-in and check-out
Arriving
The lockbox is on the porch rail, right of the front door. The code is 4821. Take the key, close the box and spin the dials.
The porch lights are on a timer, so it is never dark when you arrive.
Leaving
Lock the front door, put the key back in the lockbox and spin the dials. The list at the end of this page has the rest.
Getting in and parking
The cottage is the brown-shingled house at the end of Lantern Lane, with the wide front porch. Walk up the stone path and the porch steps.
Parking
Two cars fit in the driveway. Please don't park on the lane: it is one car wide and the neighbors need to get by.
House rules
- No smoking, inside or out.
- No parties. Up to 6 guests stay overnight.
- Quiet hours are 10 pm to 7 am.
- Dogs are welcome. Please keep them off the beds.
- Please take your shoes off at the door.
How things work
Thermostat
In the hall by the bathroom. Press the arrows to set it; 68 is comfortable. Please turn it down to 62 when you leave.
Coffee maker
Coffee and filters are in the cupboard above it. Fill the water to the line, add two scoops and press the round button.
TV
Use the gray remote. Press Home, then pick an app and sign in with your own account. Please sign out before you leave.
Washer and dryer
In the closet off the kitchen. Detergent is on the shelf above. Warm and Normal suit almost everything.

The best chowder in town. Go early on weekends: there is a line by noon.
